Barb Schroeder, Director
Barb is the mother of an adult daughter with a developmental disability and has significant experience working with nonprofit organizations. She retired from the Community Foundation of Boone County after twenty -four years of serving in a variety of positions with her responsibilities including leading various committees (including scholarships and grants), providing outreach to the community, implementing initiatives, and maintaining the overall granting program. At the time of her retirement, she served as the Director of Grants. Barb has a Certificate of Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, completed the Boone County Leadership training course, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Ball State University.
