ILADD (Independent Living for Adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities) had another successful year in 2023. The tremendous work of our volunteers, the strong support of our donors, and ILADD’s ongoing commitment to helping our self-advocates on their quest for independence enabled ILADD to grow significantly in 2023. We are positioned for even more success in 2024!

ILADD Mid Year Report 2023

ILADD continued to grow at a rapid pace in the first six months of 2023. We now offer even more programs and social options for the sharply rising number of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) that we serve. In addition, ILADD entered into an agreement with Old Town Companies for the donation of land by Old Town which will become ILADD’s Crossbridge Point community. ILADD’s first Development Director also joined our team earlier this year. It was a busy and exciting first half of 2023.

Old Town Land Donation to ILADD

ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA (March 13, 2023) – ILADD (Independent Living for Adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities), an Indiana nonprofit, announced today it has entered into an agreement with Old Town Companies for the donation of land by Old Town for ILADD’s Crossbridge Point residential community. The parcel is integrated within Old Town’s proposed 260-acre master planned Wild Air development on Marysville Road in Zionsville that was recently filed with the Town of Zionsville.

ILADD Appoints Bailee Reynolds as Development Director

ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA (February 9th, 2023) – ILADD, Inc. announced today that Bailee Reynolds had been appointed its new Development Director. Reynolds brings over a decade of experience working in nonprofit development to her new role. She also has experience working with adults with Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD), including service as a nonprofit executive in the IDD field. Reynolds will help lead ILADD’s fundraising, development, and public awareness efforts toward accomplishing its mission of providing housing, enrichment/educational programs, and social options that enable adults with IDD to live in homes of their own and enjoy fulfilling and meaningful lives in their communities.

ILADD Appoints Matthew Fultz as Executive Director

ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA (August 1, 2022) – ILADD, Inc. announced today that Matthew Fultz has been appointed as its new Executive Director. Fultz brings over a decade of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to his new role, including service as a nonprofit executive. He will lead ILADD’s efforts to provide housing, enrichment/educational programs, and social options that enable adults with IDD to live in homes of their own and enjoy fulfilling and meaningful lives in their communities.

ILADD Selected for a 2022 Impact Matching Grant Up to $30,000 by Community Foundation of Boone County

ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA (April 28, 2022) – ILADD, Inc. announced today that it was selected to receive a 2022 Impact Matching Grant of up to $30,000 from the Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) to improve the lives of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Boone County. Every dollar donated directly to ILADD between May 1 and Sept. 1, 2022, will be matched by the CFBC up to the maximum amount awarded.

Sunshine Society Donates 8 Acres and Barn to ILADD

ILADD, Inc. announced today that The Sunshine Society has donated almost eight acres of property on Whitestown Parkway near State Route 267 in Zionsville to ILADD to be used for classes, meetings, social events, and other activities benefitting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Central Indiana.

ILADD, Inc. President’s Report for 2020

ILADD had a successful year in 2020, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a new nonprofit with a very important mission, it was essential that ILADD establish a strong governance structure, create and begin implementing its programming, heighten awareness of ILADD’s mission and vision and begin fundraising.
