ILADD, Inc. Informational Seminars are part of our commitment to providing families and friends of adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD), supports, providers, and others with the information and resources they need to establish sustainable supports for central Indiana adults with IDD.

These are 2-hour in-person gatherings (or via Zoom depending on current COVID protocols) designed to address gaps in information about funding, services, supports, and legal and financial matters that may impact adults with IDD.

Navigating Transportation Resources and Expertise Join us for an engaging information seminar featuring expert speakers on the topic of transportation, Karren Brooks with CICOA and Amanda Meyers with CIRTA. This event will highlight local resources dedicated to transportation for persons with IDD within the Indianapolis area and surrounding counties, including Boone County. This event will provide valuable insights into navigating the area, including public transit options, accessibility services, tips for making the most of available transportation resources, how each transportation option is funded, and possibilities for crossing county lines from work to employment. Discover how these services can enhance residents' mobility, independence, and convenience. Whether you’re seeking information for yourself, a family member, or a friend, this seminar will offer practical solutions and connections to local transportation support. Following our speakers we will host a Transportation Resource Fair with numerous organizations that provide transportation, funding, and /or training to the IDD population.
