Single Session Cooking Class

Join our Cooking Class as we prepare a full meal including an entree and sides. This class is a hands-on opportunity to learn and practice cooking skills, including following recipes, using large and small kitchen appliances in addition to opportunities to practice cutting and measuring skills. We will discuss food handling and kitchen safety during all cooking activities. We attempt to provide one volunteer for every two self-advocates in the class to provide hands-on support. No cooking skills are needed to participate in this class as we will have opportunities to include any self-advocate from the novice cook to those already cooking independently and wanting to learn additional skills.

Registration is required.  Each class will be limited to the first 12

self-advocates who register.
