Starkey Nature Park in Zionsville
The park’s wooded bottomland along Eagle Creek offers scenic beauty, hiking trails, nature study, and perfect settings for photos.
We will gather for this hike at the Sugarbush Drive Parking area (667 Sugarbush Drive). Please dress accordingly for the weather and possibly wet trails.
ILADD Hiking Club is for adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities who can walk at least 2-3 miles, up and down hills, on uneven ground, and on unpaved trails. All hikers should bring their own water bottles. It is recommended that everyone bring a change of shoes and socks for after the hike because it may get muddy if it rains (or snows) within a day or two before the hike. Also, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.. If we need to postpone the hike due to excessive rain/snow or severe weather, we will email or call you two hours or more before the hike is set to commence.
