We have invited a panel of parents and self-advocates to share their personal journeys toward independence. We will have families from a variety of housing and living options who will share how they made their decision for their independent living option chosen, how they prepared for the transition of moving out of the family home, and things they have learned along the way. We know that not everyone’s journey to independence follows the same path.

Come join us as we hear from those who have chosen to purchase a home, rent an apartment, create a separate living area in the family home, and to live within a shared supported living waiver situation.
